Berni Bishop Singer / Songwriter
Concept shots for album artwork.
Star Walls
Created for an exhibition in Leytonstone (home to Stuart Freeborn on the year of his passing), this collection looks at the male notion of the female heroine. Hair becomes the main focus as it can be a catalyst for dramatically changing our appearance and in turn how we feel.

London Today
A series investigating living, studying and working in the city drawing influence from some of the artists / movements that I have been introduced to along the way.
London Today: The Naked Truth
A collaboration with Trinity Laban, London.
This collection draws upon my mixed feelings of London (living, working and studying here) and those of a group of female dancers starting out on a similar journey. For a supposedly liberal city, nudity remains shocking. Through this work I intend to show a ‘naked truth’ whilst advertising the beauty and creativity of the city.

Wings
A collection of images shot in a churchyard inspired by a pair of Mallard wings.
Originally created for 'The Wing assignment'.
Initially my inspiration for this collection was aesthetical as Mallards can be seen to represent grace, peacefulness and sensitivity. My aim was to capture the beauty in the form and colours of wings themselves and the spiritual freedom that they represent when in flight. The interest for me lay in the juxtaposition between the struggling frenzy of the ducks’ strong legs and feet beneath the surface, propelling the impression of a calm exterior gliding through the water. Immediately I drew a parallel between dance and flight.
